What if a spammer verifies themselves anyway?
Most spam is sent by automated programs and they are unable to verify themselves. However, you may block specific email addresses by adding them to the unauthorized senders list in your account.
How do I start Spam Snag working for me?
It is very fast and easy to begin blocking spam. On the registration page you will supply your email information. Immediately after registration the service will begin to block your unwanted email.
Does Spam Snag work with my email program?
Spam Snag works with any email program that supports the POP3 protocol: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape, etc. Spam Snag also works WITHOUT POP protocol for Hotmail, MSN, and Lycos (you do not have to pay extra to use our service with free Hotmail, MSN, or Lycos mail).
How do I configure my email program?
You will need to make some minor changes to the server settings in your email program. Instructions are available on the configuration support page.
What if I change ISPs or email providers?
If you change your ISP or email provider you will simply need to update your server information and email address in your account.
Will my email be delayed?
No.
Will I receive my attachments?
Yes.
What about my mailing list messages?
Most mailing lists work by sending a message to a certain address. Simply add that address to your approved sender list and you will receive all of the mailing list messages, without requiring verification from the individual list members.
Will Spam Snag work with automated emails from news services or retailers?
Yes! You can authorize (or block) senders by adding that address to your authorized senders list. Authorize it once, and all future emails from that address will automatically be passed through to your inbox.
Can I pre-approve my address book?
Yes! You may upload your address book to your authorized senders list.
Will others be able to access my email?
No, Spam Snag is very secure. We will protect your privacy and all your emails.

How can I pay?

How can I cancel my account?
Just log on to your account and go under "Options" then "Cancel and close my account" in the control panel then follow the instructions.
Why didn't I receive the email I sent to myself?
Sending emails that appear to be from your own email address is a very common technique used by spammers. To protect you from spam, we do not allow mail from your own address into your inbox. However, if you have an alternative email address, you may send yourself messages from there.
Does Spam Snag read my emails? How private is this service?
We do not at any time read your emails. We completely respect your privacy and assure you your emails will always be kept confidential. You may review our privacy policy.
Can I add additional email accounts to my primary account?
Yes, you are allowed to add additional email accounts to your primary account. One of the great benefits of this feature is that you will get a 50% discount for each additional email account tacked on to your primary account! This is great for your whole family!
