    Microsoft Outlook 97 (Windows)

      1. Open the Tools -> Services menu.

      2. Select Internet Mail and click Properties.

      3. On the Servers tab, change the Incoming mail (POP3) server to mail.spamsnag.com.

      4. Change the Account name to your Spam Snag login.

      5. Change the Password to your Spam Snag password.

    To Send Email using Spam Snag
    (this step only necessary if having trouble sending email, or using "Auto Send Authorization" feature)

      1. Open the Tools -> Services menu.

      4. Click the button next to 'My Server requires Authentication' then click the Settings button.

    Microsoft Outlook 2000 (Windows)

      1. Open the Tools -> Accounts menu

      2. On the Mail tab, choose the account you will be using with Spam Snag, and click the Properties button.

    Qualcomm Eudora 5 or 6 (Windows)

      1. Open the Tools -> Options menu

      2. Choose Checking Mail from the categories on the left.

      3. Change the Mail Server to mail.spamsnag.com.

      4. Change the Login Name to your Spam Snag login.

      5. Choose Incoming Mail from the categories on the left.

      6. Confirm that Server Configuration is set to POP.

      7. Confirm that Authentication style is set to Passwords.

      Due to a small bug with Eudora you may need to do the following once your email program is configured:

        1. Please go to Tools -> Personalities and right click on the Dominant Personality. Select Properties and uncheck the "Check Mail" button. Click OK, Close and restart Eudora.

        2. Navigate back to the "Check Mail" button and re-select it.

    To Send Email using Spam Snag
    (this step only necessary if having trouble sending email, or using Auto Send Authorization feature)

      1. Open the Tools -> Options menu

      2. Choose Sending Mail from the categories on the left.

      3. Change the SMTP Server to mail.spamsnag.com.

      4. Change the Login Name to your Spam Snag login.

      5. Check the box next to Allow Authentication

    Netscape Communicator 4.x (Windows)

      1. Open the Edit -> Preferences menu.

      2. Select Mail & Newsgroups > Mail Servers from the box on the left.

      3. Select the Incoming Mail Server for the account you are using with Spam Snag, and click the Edit button.

      4. On the General tab, change the Server Name to mail.spamsnag.com.

      5. Change the User Name to your Spam Snag login.

      6. Change the Password to your Spam Snag password.

      7. Do not change any of the other options.

      NOTE: Due to a bug in Netscape 4.x, you may need to make a modification to your preferences file if you have the @ symbol in your POP user name. Follow the link below for details on how to do this.

    To Send Email using Spam Snag
    (this step only necessary if having trouble sending email, or using Auto Send Authorization feature)

      1. Open the Edit -> Preferences menu.

      2. Select Mail & Newsgroups > Mail Servers from the box on the left.

      5. Change your current Password to your Spam Snag password.

      6. Do not change any of the other options.

    To Send Email using Spam Snag

      4. Change the Incoming Mail Username to your Spam Snag login.

      5. Change the Incoming Mail Password to your Spam Snag password.
